WELCOME ADVERTISEMENT
It’s boring. This is a common word. Every body say it while they are concentrate view a TV program, suddenly there are many advertisement come up. So do me. While the advertisement appears, I am always changing the TV channel. In order to find a new channel with no advertisement. After that I am back to the older channel.
I am an ordinary people. And many people have type same as mine. Boring with the TV advertisement. It is real a disturb while watching TV. But after I am in a college and studying about communication science. I am change the word of “boring” to be “fantastic” one. Actually advertisement is not an aid of promotion only, and be watched as a boring viewer. I just stupid to make a small opinion about it. Advertisement needs a long way and creative thing in the production.
Riyanto (Widayatama : 2005;16) says that advertisement is mean all the processing include preparation, planning, production, supervising, review, and offering to the audience. Derived from that, advertisement is mean off all about the production processing about advertisement itself.
Following Riyanto opinion: sales and marketing without an advertisement, it is like a good product but never offering to consuming or buyer. If buyer having no mind or imagination about your product. They will not know, there is a good product. Than how is the consuming be attracted and drive to buy. This is the reason, why does a product (good or service) need a way to communicate. The bridge between a seller and a buyer is an advertisement.
How to attract consuming. The result of advertisement (I am boring it before) is a long creative process production. It is a fantastic one. Advertisement makes people boring, but people need advertisement in other side. So I will make a free opinion that advertisement is a window for consummates.
